Case Study II: A dairy production enterprise has consistently employed industrial acids and alkalis for equipment cleaning.

The industrial acid-base cleaning exhibits limited efficacy, necessitating the enhancement of acid-base concentration, elevated cleaning temperatures, and extended cleaning durations to ensure optimal cleaning performance.

Case Details

Industrial acids and alkalis have poor cleaning power; to compensate, their concentration, temperature and contact time must all be increased, driving up water, electricity and steam consumption. At high temperatures the elevated concentrations readily corrode stainless-steel surfaces, causing carbonization and roughening that traps contaminants. The equipment turns yellow overall, its service life is sharply reduced, and UHT tube bundles can develop leaks.

After switching to Klean composite cleaning agents, the cleaning time, temperature and concentration were optimized. This significantly improved cleaning effectiveness and equipment utilization, restored the original stainless-steel appearance, reduced water, electricity and steam consumption, eased pressure on the wastewater treatment plant, and ultimately lowered production costs.
